figured i may as well post up so you can see my runner. not new to trucks or 4runners, my girlfriend owns a 96 that we wheel now and then. previously i have had a few full size broncos and a wrangler. mostly i build motorcycles though.

anyways heres a picture of the runner. its an 89 6 cyl auto, body has a few rust spots. had a rusted out rear window track. brand new stock size tires on 15s, and the passenger window doesnt work. got it for 800 and drove it home.
i ended up cutting a piece of plexi glass for a rear window i can slide in and out. kinda ghetto but it works. and i put some american racing rims with 32 inch tires on them.

slacker has replacement rear window tracks at 4Runner they seem a bit pricey but im sure its worth it he makes good stuff!

the reflection isnt bad at all now. that was after i peeled the protective stuff off.

it needs some work. the exhaust is shot. it has a cheap muffler and glasspack on it... yeah i know its just as bad as it sounds. needs an O2 sensor. i think the timing is off. it looks like its advanced as far as it can be which makes me think that the distributor is a tooth off. and its getting maybe 10mpg right now. but its a blast in the mud.

I feel you on the muffler, the PO did something similiar to mine. I haven't got the cash to replace a perfectly good muffler, but it's got to be the loudest most annoying 4banger I've ever heard.
