First time 4runner/toyota owner

Hey guys, New guy here. I purchased a 3rd gen 4runner and it has been life changing. I don't know if I should post all my pics here, or in a separate build thread. I probably do that and link here, so stay tuned!

I've had a dozen 4WDs and driven about 20 others for work. Always had a preference for Toyotas. My 2019 SR5 Premium is the best I've had or driven (BTW Jeep was the worst!!). That includes 2 FJ40s.

Smart move and enjoy (from the "dry side" of Washington State).

Thanks! I used to have a TJ jeep when I was younger that I cut my teeth off-roading and wheeling with. Stock with 31's. Never got stuck, living up in Reno. Was alot of fun, but the ride was harsh, the motor was gutless, and no storage.

This lil Yota has really blown me away. Most reliable thing I've ever owned, surprisingly capable, and I love the ride of IFS. I have always been saying they should make body on frame, but with rack and pinion. Low and behold that's exactly what this truck has.

Welcome! I am new here too. Looking for a nice 5th Gen

I decided to go with a Gen 5 new 2024 TRD Off Road over the new to come out Gen 6. I personally think my decision will be a good one in the long run. At 79 this could be my last new vehicle and driving very low mileage, 4-5 thousand per year. The Gen 5 build quality has been tested and proven to be very high, this model could become one of the best manufactured vehicles ever produced.
