First Time Doing Real Hills in SR5 (Broken Arrow, OK)

Near Bass Pro I took the kids out sight-seeing and with a limited amount of time, decided to do some crawling near the house. The Downhill Assist Control came in handy going down one of the hills, as I was having a hard time seeing over my hood based on the angle. From the looks of it, this might be a night-time hangout spot for teenagers with campfires. My kids had fun (Big M and Little M.)

Did all the jerking and noise from the craw control freak your kids out?? Mine feels like being on an old wooden roller coaster as it slowly clicks up before the drop... I stopped using it because I thought my car was breaking. :lookout:

the OP doesn't have a TE, so i'm pretty sure he does not have Crawl Control.

Err, meant to say "downhill assist," assuming it makes all the jerky braking noises trying to maintain a controlled speed on a hill like crawl control would.

Yes, the first time I turned DAC on, my oldest asked if it was "normal"
Yep and it got us down the big hill in one piece.

There is a bigger hill, but I will save that for later. Down the utility line trail.

There is fun to be had all over the place...dont forget we arent too far from Kansas Rocks or SMORR in Missouri, or any number of the numerous places in Arkansas... Cruising around at Disney during a big event such as Rocktober that is coming up would be an experience you would never forget...

extreme 4wheelin is, most of thier rigs are shiney and newer and daily drive or at least drive to and from the trails...no trailer queens or hardcore rigs. On the last run i went on with them there was an H3 on 20's with street tires...

Everyone takes great efforts to make sure it is a great trail run with no damage to anyone's rig.

you can cruise all around at disney...not sure about clayton though unless you are referring to the K-trail... I sure wouldn't go to green acres or freilings...

I would like to recommend Pensacola Dam near Grove, OK. It has a spillway recreation area that is unbelievable. I took my TE and was doing 90 percent of what everyone else was doing in a dune buggy. Awesome spot!!arty:
