First time doing rotor/brake pad swap. Should I do anything else while I'm at it?

I need new rotors and brake pads. I've never done the swap, but I'm reading through some DIYs. Is there anything else that's relatively simple I can or should do while I do this brake service?

Clean up the pins while you are in there. Clean up threads and Use anti seize on everything. With the wheel off it’s always good to check your bushings and look for any leaks. Check CV’s for wear, tie rods and rack for wear/leaks etc. Brakes are an easy one! Might be worth adjusting your parking brake as well if it isnt where you like it to be.

My advice (ask me how I know...) on this is to start with the cable under the console. See if tightening it (there are videos on YT) gets it where you want it. If not, loosen it a bit, use the star wheels under the rotors, then tighten it again. PM me for more if that doesn't make sense.
