first time rebuild, first time owner

Hey everyone, i just got an 89 and i need to overhaul the motor. as of right now the motor is out of the truck and i will soon begin the teardown. the engine was ran down to 1/2 quart of oil and somewhere it seized in the bottom end. the last owner put 4 more quarts in before it blew up and they were still in there when i began removing the engine. none of the fluids mixed either and none were on the ground where i towed it from. what are the chances of my lower end being reusable? any tips about the overhaul process would also be greatly appreciated. thanks!

It's hard to say, you'd have to tear it apart, inspect, and go from there.

i forgot to add that its the 3.0 liter v-6 sr5 model.
