Recently sold a very well built dodge ram 4x4 diesel, the guy that bought it had a t4r for sale for very cheap, so we made a deal. I bought the 4 runner for a daily driver till i acquired a new ram to bas****ize, i digress, anyway, instantaneously i began to discover the mods that will make my new to me t4r fit my needs. The guy that owned the runner before me was more of an overland adventure guy, and my needs are more of a baja runner.
The runner is a 2000 5 speed, has a odyssey battery, sanoran steel 1.2 kit and trd stainless headers with a magnaflow exhaust. I slapped on some yokohama ats-2 265/75's and a set of yakima racks, tomorrow i am building a simple light bar with a delete of the valance. In the future i can see some kind of 2.5 coilovers and rears with external res and maybe a set of upper control arms, along with some exterior lighting and she should be good to go.
currently she needs a few cv boots, the rear hatch lock has fallen off and one of the back windows will not roll up all the way.
Anyway, i like to play in baja, and spend a lot of time at the races down south, my goal is to have her ready for the baja 1000 in november for a nice long road trip of fun.
