First Toyota!

Hey guys! My name is Brian, I live in Utah with my wife, 2 year old son and a son on the way, due in December! I work for a collaborative translation software company called Lingotek as a Quality Assurance Engineer. I'm going to school at Utah Valley University; majoring in Business Marketing.

I grew up a Jeep guy. I owned a heavily modified 93 Jeep Wrangler (built by myself and my father) through high school and had a slightly modified 01 Grand Cherokee for a year or two after I got married 4 years ago.

This is my first Toyota, although I've always been a fan of the Tacoma's and 4Runner's, so I'm very excited with my new purchase.

We picked up a 2005 4Runner SR5 4x4 with the 4.7L V8. It's white with tan cloth, pretty plane jane, but it's super clean and has 90,000 miles, which from what I've seen for sale, is pretty low. I had them fix cracked exhaust manifolds on both sides before purchase and plan to purchase a 3 month/3,000 mile warranty to make sure I get the water pump, timing belt and tensioners replaced before I get too far down the road.

Anyways, I hope to find lots of useful information and look forward to getting into discussion with many of you... I can't wait to hit the trails as I haven't had a 4x4 in a couple of years and kids, work and school keep you quite busy!
