first world problem here - memory seat function

alright, i know this is a minor inconvenience, so it is what it is, but i'm open for suggestions...

i replaced the seat base cover in my 08 limited today. was not a bad job after i decided to give up on the hog rings and use zip ties instead. those hog rings are all but impossible to get to in the crevices of the foam.

everything's back together, all plugs are connected, everything is working fine except my seat memory. the buttons do nothing. no beeps, no seat movement. nothing. seats move with the controls on the side. any ideas what it could be? i've started the truck several times thinking it might need a reset or something, but no dice. i'm at a loss on this one.

for those wondering, i contacted Bruce at upholstery guys (eBay store) and he was able to hook me up with a nearly identical match to my tan (also known as toyota oak; learned that did bit from Bruce). really happy with the results, well minus that whole issue above.

I'd unplug and replug the plugs a couple times, and maybe disconnect and reconnect the battery. I would always recommend checking the fuses but pretty weird if just that function is fused. Anyway, could just be a switch that coincidentally went out at the same time.

By the way, love the thread title!

Bump

Same problems, memory buttons won't work. I get a beep when I hit the "set" button, but nothing when I press or hold down the 1 or 2 buttons.

Anyone find a fix or have an update?
