Good day all...bought the misses (and ME) a new toy to get around in all this new weather we're having. Got a great deal, just need some new shoes cause I'm not impressed with the walmart ones that are on it. It supposedly had the engine replaced from a 98 but I'm questioning that now because the manifold still says 3.0 and I thought that in 96 they went to a 3.4???

Welcome. I am also the proud owner of a 95 4runner. It could be a 96 engine with a 2nd gen manifold on it. or maybe they decided to keep the 3.0 badge on it. But you are correct that the 96 came with a 3.4
