Fit 33s without lift?

i have a 95 4runner and im curious to know what i might to need to do to clear 33s. anyone know if i would HAVE to get a lift kit or maybe just try to put some bigger shocks on it or something of that nature, because it looks like they would fit but may rub. but i dont really know anyone have any ideas?

You should be able to do a 33x10.50 on the stock rim with no lift at all. At most you may need to do a little hammering.

However if you want 33x12.50's on an aftermarket rim you're going to need a 4" lift or a lot of trimming.

You'll need 3-4" of lift to clear them w/o rubbing, suspension or suspension/body lift combo, or some fender trimming.

A 2" body lift with a 2" suspension lift will allow you to fit 33" x 12 1/2" tyres on the correct offset rims, say 28mm negative offset. This will give slight rubbing on the front tyres when on full lock and articulated but it is only the tyres touching the mud flap bolts.

If you have a sawzall and a 5lb sledge hammer you can run 33"x12.5" tires without a lift!

im running 33X13.50s with no lift or cutting.All i had to do was take my running boards off, and that was it no rub or nothing now

They are 15" x 8" with 33" x 12.5" radial Claws.

i am going to be running 33x11.5x15 with a 4" lift and see how that looks and works out. good luck though. keep us posted
