Tell me this isn't the sickest DIY grille you've ever seen. This took me 3 weeks, 5 cans of paint, 3 cans of primer, 2 cans of clear coat, 2 turtle doves and a partridge in a pear tree. And no, not all of that is on the grille, thats how many time I messed up, did it over again or painted it then changed my mind, stripped it down a re did it again:bash:. AND IT'S FINALLY OVER!!!
I used gutter mesh from home depot. For the TRD logo I couldnt find anything I liked, so I went on the internet found a TRD logo, sized it to how big I wanted and printed. From there I made the printed logo into a stencil, traced it onto a piece of sheet metal and cut out the letters. Then I primed, painted and clear coated them and then mounted them to the grille using professional style double sided decal mounting tape. Then after I finished everything I had clear bra put on it all to prevent it from chipping. Ah the journey has been long but I've only crossed a river, Im not even close to the end of the trail. Im still working on the bumper and its gonna be a while till its done but it'll be "Fitting In With The Import Guys Part: 3
