so...hubby and i gutted all four of the cats and he soldered in some mil eliminators....fixed my problem..and im sooo happy to say i dont have ne more annoying codes lighting up my dash..so if there is anyone with tht code and u know what ur doing what we did fixed the problem..ive battled with that damn thing for two years and finally it is no more!! so we threw my flowmaster 40 back on there and now im looking for a new exhaust tip...preferebly black...i need to post up some pics of what it looks like now...wahoo!!

Nice! Free flowin' cats do give a bit more performance and do give a good raw note in the exhaust!

But I hate to rain on the parade...
Gutting the cat doesn't mean the P0430 is fixed, just like putting tape over the MIL doesn't mean it goes away. Catalytic converters are theoretically lifetime parts that should never fail, realistically they should still last easily past 200k. Most problems with cat codes are result of failing or old O2 Sensors. But if you catalytic converter is truly damaged and failing, that is a symptom of a larger issue not the problem itself. Catalytic converters don't go bad by themselves, they go bad because the engine is not performing properly and is damaging the cat as a result.

Like I said, not trying to rag on you guys, but all this "fixes" is that the computer will not set a MIL because it no longer is actively monitoring fuel mixtures accurately.
