Fixing other people's messes. Power Antenna fix

My power antenna still worked but sounded horrible so I ordered the toyota fixed antenna for it. I went to change it out and someone had done some pretty dumb things to it to keep it working. I'm not even sure it was still the factory one. The put a tiny power wire under the nut on the main power to the fuse box with no end or fuse. They ran it over to the power antenna and twisted it together and taped it. Then they ran another wire into the cab and over to the fuse box. Rapped it around a fuse prong and stuck it back in there. It's fixed the right way now.

I'm always amazed by the amount of Effort that people put into hack fixes. For the same, if not less effort, and minimal additional cost, they could have just fixed it properly. Fix looks good now, though.

Edit them on your phone and rotate them 90 degrees in edit mode.

Anyways: I really like that fixed TRD antenna. I might have to go that route.
