FJ BBS Wheels or other options?

Has anyone looked at the FJ BBS wheels for the 4Runner?

17x8 with 4.5" backspacing should fit just right, shouldn't it?

I keep looking for new wheels for my silver TE and can't find ones I like.

Any other suggestions?

Where can you get these wheels in 17" ?

I see that BBS makes them in 20", and 22".

I would be interested in 4 of the 17" ers.

U can order from ur local Toyota dealer. Mine quoted me $171 each.

Where are you at nikobimmer? Pretty sure that was a Southeast Toyota region option only for the FJ's.See if you can get a 10 digit part number for someone to buy online.

The 17" BBS RD-T wheels (Toyota part # 00041-80006) will NOT fit on our 2010 4R's. This is according to Michael from BBS. I called BBS yesterday and spoke with him, and he said that since the wheel has a positive offset of 5 mm, there is clearance problems. (I am assuming with the caliper) He said that is is noted on his "application fitament sheet". Its a shame too, because I was going to order 4 of these from a southeastern Toyota dealer. Oh well, time to keep looking for a 6 on 5.5", 17" x 8" wheel with 4.5" backspacing, and 0 offset, or slightly negative offset.

That is strange - a +5mm offset would make the BS 4.7" - not 4.5". The outer edge of an 8" wheel should be 0.8" closer to the street and the inner edge 0.2" closer to the engine. I know at one point Harper7 said that you s/b able to go as far as a 4.75" BS (0.25" closer to the engine). Seems like there would be at least a quarter inch of tolerance though things may be close.

I'm just relaying what BBS told me. In fact, I was ready to call and order these wheels, and I thought, "why not call BBS just to make sure that they will fit." And I'm glad that I did. I didn't want to be the guinnea pig, but if you know someone who has these wheels, and you can try and see if they fit our 2010 4R's, please let me know. I'll buy 4 in a heartbeat if they fit.

I don't know anything about these wheels, I wanted to stay with 17" wheels, so I never looked at these. But, they are nice.

i think these look a lot better the the FJ bbs. I've seen them on a friends tacoma. I'd try them but he has bigger tires on his plus out of state.

I think our wheels are too narrow too and sit inside the wheel arches to much. This is a wider wheel and would push out nicely if didn't rub in the inside.
