FJ Coil Alternatives

My fj springs, bilstein 5100's, bushings, and misc parts just came in the mail. So I'm going to compile my install pics, part #'s, links, and threads into a new thread. Send me any questions y'all have so I can look out for answers when I install them this weekend.

Here is my 04 2WD with:
Moog 81088s that are replacements for 4Runner V8 4x4 Front Coils (There are different Moog P/N 2wd/4wd V8/V6)
Bilstein 5100s set at the .85 spring perch. added almost a full 3 inches lift. Granted mine is a 2WD V6, lightest weight to begin with. so longer V-8 springs made a big difference!!
FJ Springs in the Rear. Added 1/2"-1" over stock, differed side to side.
Running Boards removed, Now that they are removed I have no idea why I waited 148K miles to do it!!

The overall ride feels great. Vast improvement over Stock!!

i just installed the moog fj coils front and rear with bilstein 5100 shocks set at 2.5" and measured from center wheel hub to bottom fender lip
front 23"
rear 24"

the ride is excellent, little stiffer , feels more sturdy.

cv angles are ok as well.
