FJ Cruiser and 5100s Install Problems

**Potentially solved**

Hey everybody-

I've been lurking on the forums for awhile and decided to do the FJ Cruiser Spring swap. I purchased all four from a 2010 4x4 FJ along with a set of Bilstein 5100s. I installed the rears no problem, but am having a ton of trouble with the fronts.

I'm working on the driver side front. The strut is in, but when I attempt to raise the lower a arm to compress it enough to bolt the hub back in, I'm not even close. When I jack the lower a arm, it just raises the vehicle after about 1/2 inch of compression.

Here's a couple of photos:

I have a jack stand under the passenger rear frame.

I double checked the part numbers on the struts.

I'm just really stumped. Everyone else seems to have done this fairly easily.

I'd love to hear any of your thoughts. Thanks in advance. :boom:

You're correct! I just ran and grabbed the instructions. Don't I feel dumb. Thanks! I'll try and get it back together first thing tomorrow morning and report back.
