The replica wheels on Ebay are almost $2000, So I got a set of new regular FJ Wheels and I am going to have them powder coated and make my own replicas.

They should turn out looking like this.

and will be going on this.

What do you think?

aside from the red stripe, those are hit as hell. I saw a new 10 fj yesterday with trd rims, black spokes and polished lip. They were sexy too.

I thought about the samething.... I am planning on getting just the center TRD caps to throw with my FJ wheels. BUt I will go instead of red..Gold...

Does anthracite just refer to the color or is it a texture thing too?

These are the FJ 17" stock rims...you can get the whole set..used for around $200 - $350 or so ..depending on the conditions...I got mines (5) for $325 locally...an they are almost new...just one of them has a minor scratch. U will have to paint them tho'. Sometimes if you lucky u can get them already blacked out...

Try calling all your local dealers to see if they have some take offs?

I wanted new ones, so I paid a little more.

Check the craiglist in your area. Or FJ forum is another choice.

I dont see the point of buying them brand new if you are going to paint them. You can get a nice used set..ask for pics and if is local you can check them out in person and see if they worth the money.

BUt you can always get them new if thats what you want.

Don't want tbem new necessarily, want them cheap. Trust me, I've been all over clist in the closest 3 states everyday and online as well. One of these days I'll find my rims and tires.

They will look good on your rig. I think the silver would look good on the black 4runner. Either will look good though.

Any guides on how to modify TRD center caps to fit the FJ wheels? Would love to put those on my set
