FJ cruiser Hybrid

I was driving this afternoon in the Chicago area and a yellow FJ Cruiser merged into my lane complete with Toyota Hybrid badges.

Anyone hear of Toyota coupling their truck motors with hybrid technology or do you think the driver was making a misleading statement?

Gotta happen eventually but i doubt that was it. Probably just an idiot with a couple spare badges laying around.

Probably lives in a "green" neighbourhood surrounded by Honda Insight driving tree huggers. Wants to fit in so they don't vandalize his rig.
