FJ Cruiser OEM Sliders on 4Runner?

Does anyone know if the stock OEM sliders from a FJ Cruiser will fit on a 4runner? A buddy of mine has a FJ and looking to upgrade and I am looking to get rid of my running boards.

Not easily/not well, the 4Runner does not have threaded holes in the frame like the FJ does. Also, someone did do this, but the sliders are a little too short for real usage.

Yea, I figured nothing was that easy right. I am just to the point where I want to remove the factory running boards on my 07 SR5, but don't like the look of the exposed body. I don't do any serious off-roading so I don't need anything elaborate. Mainly cosmetic.
