Only have 3000 miles on them along with the springs. Is it worth the swop or is only the bilstiens worth it? Or are all fj shocks bilsteins?

My understanding is thaat the 'stock', non-Bilstein shocks are Tokiko's that are valved slightly stiffer than 4Runner shocks. I think you'd be pleased and notice an improvement especially considering your other thread about bouncing along the interstate. I really think you won't regret it but I also suspect you won't achieve the desired results until you squared away with tires. That's my 2cents based on never driving yours and reading your other post

if i put a 1/2" spacer up front with the FJ springs will this make the running boards level and will carrying a load make me nose high? Right now with the stock springs and daystar level kit I am nose high and when I carry a load it was pretty bad.
How do the FJ springs and no leveling kit look?
Also, will these springs give me any lift since they are not TRD or Trail Team or whatever?

Ark_Swamp_Rider and 8086Bruce both have pics up that show FJC springs and .5in spacer. The rear will sag noticeably less with the FJC springs.

TRD & TT units have the same springs but the shocks are different. Shocks don't affect ride height, springs do.

As Chris said I did the fj springs and shocks and the toytec 1/2" (net) Spacer. My boards have a 1/16th rake left on the drivers side and are dead level on the passengers side. The fj springs really help carry a load alot better than stock I know when I was putting my stuff in I was also VERY worried about the nose being up when towing so I also put in a set of airbags in the rear they are less than 100 and do a great job. Last weekend I had our boat on back loaded with gear and six people in the runner and it sat great not nose up at all still had rake left in it! That was with 10lb's of air in the bags. I think Ark Swamp Rider has just a little thicker spacer in the front than I do. Check Gatorose build thread he also did fj stuff and toytec 1/2 (net) spacer. Good luck

I have the 1/2" thick Toytech spacer, which yeilds 1" of lift. However, I have the OEM rear air suspension (which I think sits higher than the regular suspension) and only did the front FJ springs. Mine is completely level though.
i have the FJ black shocks on the front. click on my sig below to see my 4R. my set up consists of the following:
Front: FJ black shocks with FJ springs and DS budget boost
Rear: 4R black shocks with FJ springs and DS 1.5" lift
with that the running boards are level. if they are off it's hard to see. ride is definitely firmer than stock but not overbearing where it is annoying. i would say that it is perfect for me. i haven't hitched up my boat since the install but i know what the rear is definitely firmer with the FJ springs than with the 4R springs.

so i got some fj shocks and springs but the fronts are not assembled. How much of a pain in the ass will this be?
