"FJ" Front Lift for $50

Hey all,

I just saw this on FJ forums...they are the front springs and Bilstein shocks from the 2008 FJ Trail Team Edition. This should provide a slight lift (about 1") in the front. And it's cheap...$50 for 1" front lift is not bad at all!

:bigok:It's a great way to get a more controlled ride and almost an inch of front lift. The springs have an extra coil wrap, thicker barstock & they're 10mm taller than the V6 springs which translates to around 3/4" lift. The ride is far from 'tight' or rough. With the stock, lower pressure struts I ended up with 3/4" lift on my V6. I imagine the higher pressure Bilstiens would add just a squeak more.

Stock V8 springs are reported as the same (including rate) as V6 springs except for 5mm of additional length. I wouldn't want to guess how much lift you'd get on your V8. If I had to guess I say .5".

This is some of the information that I have been looking for...
Now if I can find some information as to how and if xreas is effected by the installation of the FJ springs...
