FJ shocks on 2008 V8 LTD?

I'm finally giving up the 2003 Tahoe after 215,000 miles and will be taking over the wife's T4R. Unfortunately, the soft ride is unbearable and makes the kids ill and it outright handles like crap ad compared to the Tahoe. I plan to upgrade the anti-roll bar bushings per CJ3flyr (AJ) and found a set of stock FJ springs to upgrade to however, I am looking for more information regarding shocks.

Are the shocks for the FJ and my specific T4R interchangeable? I'm looking at either Bilsteins or TRD. Any thoughts fellas?

If you have XREAS you may want to pull the lines, but the shocks are interchangeable.

if your set on the FJ springs, shop around , u may find a complete set of the offroad package fj springs & shocks, they use the bilstiens made for toyota & yes u can swap um right in. or u could use the stock springs & get bilstein 5100s to firm it up a little.
