FJ springs and shocks question.

First of all please do not bash me… I did a lot of reading and research and yet I have some questions..
I am currently thinking about doing FJ springs\shocks swap and I understand (from reading) the benefits of just swapping springs (front and rear). Can anyone tell me if there are any benefits of swapping stock FJ shocks (Tokico) as well? Do they actually better (longer travel etc) then 4Runner stock shocks?
Also, can anyone tell me the color codes on FJ 4x4 springs (front\rear and left\right)?

I don't know the color codes off the top of my head, but I'm pretty sure they are in the sticky at the top of this section. As for the shocks, I don't know of any major benefits, the majority come from the springs. If your shocks are worn, its a good option. If yours are still in good shape, id do just the coils.

ur sr5 already has tokico shocks, so unless u get new ones, there will be very little if any, improvement. try & get the fj coils with the bilstein shocks if u can, that will make a big difference in ride. http://www.toyota-4runner.org/4th-gen-t4rs/67862-installing-fj-springs-r-l-color.html
