FJ Suspension Question

So I've got a 2006 4R SR5 and am gathering parts for a partial FJ suspension swap. I have read:

But I am curious, will the FJ rear coil springs and the front coil springs + toyotec 1/4" leveler do the trick to stiffen things up a bit and give a slight lift? Or is it imperative to slap on some new shocks while im in there?

The FJ coils alone will stiffen the ride a bit, was very noticeable for me. I noticed a huge difference adding FJ coils to the stock suspension, but very little switching from FJ coils + XREAS to FJ coils + Bilstein 5100's. If you're stock shocks are still in pretty good shape and you do very little off roading, I'd just slap the FJ coils onto the stock shocks.

Ditto to what A_S_R said, how many miles on your stock shocks? In my case, I swapped out the whole suspension with FJC coils and Bilstein 5100's as I had over 95k miles on my stock setup and it was more than tired. Plus I like the idea of a coil-over type suspension better than a spacer but that's just me.
