FJ Transitioned into the big sister the TRD PRO 4R

I love the TRD Pro 4runners. Just saw an inferno orange in my neighborhood this week.

I own an FJ and a 4runner. IMO, the FJ has better off-road capability, i.e., shorter wheel base, better approach/departure angles, available with 6-speed manual trans, and easier to modify with off-road accessories. The FJ is a dedicated off-road vehicle with adequate street manners; 4runner is more of a street vehicle (more bells/whistles, more room, and more comfortable) with good off-road manners.

I have to say, I agree. The Fj is a well made capable Offroad rig! I really miss it. I'm really considering getting another one in the future; which has made me wait on selling my extra parts. Lol.

Luckily, a lot of my parts will fit easily on the 4runner. Not everything but a good amount. I love the TRD PRO, just miss the rugged looks of my fj. The 4runner reminds me of the snob big sister. Lol.

Much to the chagrin of FJ faithful (I had an 07), the 4Runner pretty much does everything better.

-better visibility
-better drivetrain
-better engine
-comfier and nicer interior
-same aftermarket off road parts due to a mostly shared platform
-better windshield
-better back seat
-better utilization of space
-better handling
-better everything
