They'd be awesome and may eliminate the need for spacers as they have a different offset. I looked around for the post that has pics of them on one of the forum members rig. I can't find it. Hopefully someone will speak-up and show some photos

FJ TRD WHEELS
They would look great, the TRD trail wheels are clean looking. but the fj uses 15mm offset and the 4runner uses a 30mm offset so the wheels will stick out 5/8 of an inch more, not a whole lot. They do come with drk grey painted finish, but for recreational use powdercoating it is the most cost effective and durable.

True. I've seen some nice durable paint jobs on wheels though, and it's much cheaper and quite easy to touch up. Last I heard powdercoating was about $50 per wheel around here, if it is still that price I'll do the powdercoating, if not a high-quality rattle can will do.

I'm not trying to hijack the thread, but I have a related question. I have the opportunity to buy four FJ TRD wheels for my 2005 SR5 4Runner with BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A KO 265/75/R16 tires on them.
Will these tires fit without rubbing? The stock tires on my 4Runner are 265/65/R17 so these would be two sizes larger if I'm not mistaken? My 4Runner is not lifted and I wouldn't want the tires to rub.
I would sure appreciate some guidance from someone whether or not these would fit properly. I do not have a special edition so the 16" wheels should be fine with my rotors.

Powdercoating is much more durable and that carries over to city driving. Good luck either way, It will look strong!!!
As for the hijacker(LOL) I believe you will be fine, your going down in wheel size and up in side wall size so that should even out even though the width and % are diff. ya your fine.

I had mine done for $65 a wheel the only draw back is you have to have a set of temp wheels and tires while there coated.
Yes, easier to touch up is correct but the only way powdercoating will break is curbing you wheels or flying debri.
Either way the look will be great!!!
