FJ Wheels Installed on '07

Hey Guys-

Got my set of FJ wheels installed yesterday. This post probably looks very similar to EvenSteven's, but figured if anyone else running a stock suspension setup and tires is interested in doing this, with the '06-'09 style, this might help.

Very pleased with the outcome- moved the wheels out about 3/4", to remove some of the fender flare overhang. Ride is nearly identical, and no rubbing.

$300 new on ebay from a Toyota dealer in DE. I bought 4.

Thats a good price. The FJ wheels definitely look better than the 22's. I recently put FJ wheels on my ride too. It was a more subtle change for me, but I like them.

Agreed, the 22's looked ghey. So Gay

I like to refer to that as a "Clown Wagon". The sedans I frequently see now that I moved to Mississippi I refer to as Clown Cars. All wheels with rubber bands for tires. Cars with huge wheels make me think I'm in the movie Ben Hur. And nothing like jacked up and painted flourescent colors...

One of these days I'm going to get shot when I walk up to a clown car at WalMart and ask "when did the circus arrive in town?" and "where are the clowns?"

Sounds like the orange Grand Marquis I saw today driving back to the office. Had 24's on it.

Going through some older photos...thought I'd add a before/after of the offset.

That is definitely a good price. I am thinking of getting a second of wheels rims for my 05 Sport and throw some winter tires on them for next winter. I might consider these FJ rims instead of the regular SE rims.

Cool wheels, I can't wait to get mine installed. They have been sitting in my garage for months. I'm just waiting for my stock tires to wear out so I can make the switch.

And, as everyone else stated the T4R with 22's looked re****ed. I hate big gaudy wheels like that on any vehicle, but especially a 4Runner!
