FJ Wheels on a 3rd Gen?

Does anyone know if stock 16 or 17 inch wheel fit on a 3rd gen 4R? Considering purchasing a lifted 4R with oversized tires. Was thinking about the possibility of throwing some stock FJ wheels on just for the safety inspection.

I almost bought a pair that were already powder coated. what i found out from my reading. not actually doing. was the back spacing was a little more that would not let you run a 285 with out a spacer.

I ended up geting a set of LC wheels that are 16x8 and 4.5 BS.

you can run them for sure. just dont plan on running a bigger tire with out a spacer cause they will rub the UCA.

all this is from my reading not actually trying on my own vehicle.

Thanks for the info. I would use a set of stock tires. Just for the inspection (to have wheels within the fenders) then throw the 35s back on.

I have a set with OEM sized tires...definitely wouldn't run 285's on them without wheel spacers
