Flat bed towing T4R TRD Pro, won't fit

Ok, I'm moving from Florida to Colorado and I'm having an issue finding a flat bed trailer rental company who's trailer will fit my TRD Pro. The issue is the straps that go over the wheels on their trailers, the webbing won't go over the top of the tire. I'm told if the straps don't go over the top of the wheel its a no go. Haul says i can use extra tie downs on the axel. Any ideas? If i changed tires I would have to find a 265-70-17 tire.

225 is the width the of the tire. I honestly don't think you'll have an issue. the stock tires are only about 30.5" tall, not that tall compared to many vehicles these days. I towed a CRV last year, smaller tires for sure, but there was ALOT of extra strap.

The tires are 265-70-17. The wide part of the webbing only fits around the back side of the tire instead of the top.

As long as you move to Pueblo or Grand Junction you'll be fine.
The rest of the place is horrible. Pot holes everywhere....

I am sorry but the POT HOLE Capital is in Montreal, if you look at what everybody is saying it's Frucking orange cone city :/ that's one of the reasons we moved the bruck outta there on the south shore ! And I work on the north shore, just saying how bad this island has become.

Very nice city but Quebec don't know shit on how to build roads I lived there all my life and all I have to say is F Uck them idiots. Sad but true : /

Just buy some cheap rims and the smallest /cheapest tires that will fit. Maybe something that would fit a 2wd Tacoma for resale?

Colorado (esp Denver) is growing at such an insanely fast rate that its kind of putting a damper on the city in a sense. There's certainly a bit of a "I'm from here" or "oh you're a transplant" type vibe from some of the people I feel. I haven't lived there, but did just spend a few days there for a bachelor party meeting a lot of people and caught that vibe a bit.

Other than that, seems like an amazing place to live! Lots of activities at your fingertips.

I rented a UHaul trailer and mounted my Bronco with 33x12.50 tires on it. It was a bit of a stretch but it worked. I put additional HD ratchet straps on the axle to the trailer. I drove from Buffalo NY to Alaska.

And OP... just flip the order and tow your other vehicle with the T4R. I mean come on, drive that thing! (and then let us know how the mpg held up on a 1,500 mile tow!!!)

It is full, rents and real estate are insanely high, state population growing at nearly 10%/year right now. Getting into the mountains via I-70 has became a nightmare in the last 5 years (winter or summer), many freeways are now congested throughout the day (just like CA). There's no end in sight.

Thats why I bought a house down near Colorado Springs.. and because of the cost of housing. Looks like Im going to be putting my 4 Runner on a transport.

There's certainly a bit of a "I'm from here" or "oh you're a transplant" type vibe from some of the people I feel.

There's definitely this amongst a certain demo of the so-called "natives."
What I've noticed is that the "natives" that have good education/training and jobs have capitalized on the growth and are mostly fine with it. It's those that haven't are disgruntled.
No one likes how crowded it's getting but the bitterness on some people's part is off-putting.

Denver at large did themselves a huge disservice by ignoring the oncoming growth and not planning for it in the early 00s (or late 90s). No one wanted rent control then but now they ***** about skyrocketing rent... No one wanted good transit then but now they ***** about crowded freeways... No one wanted a train to the mtns but now I-70 is dangers AF during the winter.
Denver is a victim of it's own success only due to the poor planning in the past.
