Flat Iron Fabrication

Hey guys, sorry for not being super active the last few days. For the next few months we are going to be focusing on cb mounts, roof rack mounts, and possibly sliders, just so that we can start to build our reputation before going into building custom bumpers and such. We are going to be taking over production of Mstudt's cb drifter antenna mount, these are going to be continued to be sold at $55 shipped (to the lower 48) We plan on releasing 4th and 5th gen mounts by the end of January at the latest. These mounts can also be used for reverse lights. If you are interested feel free to send me message on here, or to our facebook page

Any plans for a 3rd Gen plate bumper? Also interested in sliders as well. If you need a guinea pig I can volunteer my rig as well.

Sliders hopefully soon, we are building our first set in the next few weeks, no real plans on bumpers yet. We are still determining the best (most affordable) place to buy steel from. I'm going to a local place in boulder before work tomorrow

Definitely following you guys on Facebook. Looking forward to seeing what you guys put out. If I knew you guys were going to do the Drifter mount I would have bought from you guys.

That's a very nicely made mount right there, digging the T4R cut-out on it! Out of curiosity are you going to stitch weld/tack the two plates together?

Yes the mount will be fully welded together, that is just the pic I have of it on my computer at the moment. As a little bonus I am trying to figure out how to run a small light into the mounts so that the logo would light up at night.
Since we are not an official vendor on t4r yet I don't want to break any of the rules set, so keep an eye on our facebook page. I will continue to keep you guys updated on eveything.

Cut thin rectangular piece (I'd say about 3~5mm should do the trick) of opaque (or your choice of translucent colored version) plastic that covers the entire T4R section, then either tack weld a small bracket or cage around the plastic on the backside so from the outside you just see the letters "pop" where the plastic is exposed by the holes. Then attach one or more LEDs to the thin edge of the plastic (make sure whatever side you're attaching it to is cut & sanded/polished some so it's fairly clear), the idea is to have the LED point into the plastic and let refraction do the work of lighting up the entire rectangle. It's how things like combination meter gauges, shift pattern cut-outs, ect are done in the automotive world vs. having bulbs individually for each spot. :)

I was thinking something like that, but I'm not sure how many people will want to run a wire tap to the rear light just for that. I guess it could just be an add on item if anyone were interested

3rd Gen mounts are in! We have 8 in Stock at the moment. 4th and 5th gen mounts are getting mocked up on Wednesday, possibly 2016 taco mounts as well!!
I'm super excited about this if you couldn't tell
