Hey Y'all

So i picked up my 2014 4runner tep 3 weeks ago on saturday evening. About three-five days after owning it, it seems to have a leak in left rear tire. They are BRAND NEW TIRES that the STEALER DEALER put on.

I am just curious about why its flat so fast? As far as I can see there is no nail or screws in the tire.

They are Goodyear Wrangler SR-A 265/70/17

Its my own source of transportation.
They couldnt fit me in today to get the tire fixed.

What should I do in the meantime?

Thanks
Alyx

If it's still possible to find a gas station that does tire repair, try that. May cost 10 to 15, but problem solved.

I went to a tire store 2 times and had to wait 1 hour and 2 hours the next time but that may be better than a gas station fix.

Perhaps install the spare? :thumb3:

.

You might want to also check the valve stem to see it isn't loose or allowing a small leak out the cap?

Good suggestion! That's the only problem I have had with my TE in 4 years -- loose valve stem. And it may have been caused by me with my deflators.

Put the spare on than took the tire that had a leak to the shop. The tire tech found a chunk of metal the size of a staple stuck in it and the Tpms was bent... no idea how that happened. Thankfully he patched it installed a new tpms valve and put the tire back on for free. Thankfully I only had to drive 8 blocks to get it fixed. Anyways have a great evening and rest of your weekend everyone. Thanks for the input everyone I appreciate it!

I picked up a nail after driving my '16 home from the dealer. Les Schwab fixed it, cost me a dozen fresh baked donuts from the grocery store across the street. I don't know Schwab makes any money, they've been fixing my tires for 20 years for free - and I always give the guys a dozen or two donuts for their effort.
