Flood/Fording

Alright so i was driving around my local area with my buddies and noticed the roads were all flooded probably beetween the bottom of the rim and bottom lug nut of depth. Well as i was driving through it all on my way back all of a sudden my A/C went from kinda cold to hot as hell. So i just turned it off. then about 30 minutes later My Check Engine light comes on. So lay it on me what could possibly be wrong right now. The fastest i went was about 20. I was in 4WD HI

Edit: The A/C Works fine now as of the next morning. Check Engine light is still on, and it take about an additional half second to start it up.

I know what your talking about, BUT i have no idea how to do this. Should i just take it into Toyota and have them look around? Or is that to much money>

Without scanning it, my guess is that the water got on the belts causing them to slip thus the reason why no AC. It could have done the same them for the alternator. Giving it a low voltage error causing the chk engine light to come on. With the battery not charged back to 100% could give the slow starting that you are experiencing.

Alright So the light ended up going away with nothing done it was just done by itself, I just got back from the Airshow so i was away from my truck for 5 days. I was driving down the free way and my truck just stalled and all the light came on the steering wheel locked up. BUT im fine i just stopped and put it on park and it started back up. My friend's friend happend to have a scan gauge in his truck when i met them later that day and he said it was an o2 Sensor and he deleted the code. I still feel like there is way more to it. I was thinking about going to toyota and do that full service then i saw it was 500$. Then i decided to do the 99$ troubleshoot and see what was wrong and pay whatever i needed to, to fix it. BUT then my dad called me and said fck no. So im going to a guy around here that everyone happens to say "hes the only mechanic i trust" coming from everyones mouth so im going tommorow to have him check it all out. The End. Haha

Edit: Also thanks guys for your answers above!
