Flood light placements

I have an 18 OR premium I just bought the rigid metal mesh grill to install a 20 inch Baja spot combo but I have a pair of 4inch rigid e series flood that I want mount also I personally like how the police explorers have them mounted over the rear roof facing side view down or can or should mount them with ditch brackets lmk thanks

You should mount them wherever you want to mount them based on where you want the additional light, not where someone on the internet tells you they "think" you should.
