Floor mat cleaning and waxing

Two quick questions:

1) I was going to wait to buy Griot's interior cleaner, but my floor mats are really dirty. I've used Tuff Stuff Multi-Purpose cleaner to clean my mats before and I was wondering if it is safe to keep using it. This will be the last time, as I'm gonna get the Griot's product.

2) I'm going on vacation to some beach town in late May and I was thinking about waxing my '04 SR5 towards the end of THIS month. Is this a good idea or should I wait until after my trip?

Since you'll be in the salt air, protect it before you go and seriously consider doing it again afterwards. At the very least, give it a thorough cleaning as soon as you can when you return.

I agree, if you can get the wax on there before you go to the beach, it will give it that extra protection from the salty air. Every time we go to Florida, I drop by the pressure washer when I get home and give it a good spray down, then bring it home and wash it.
