Floor mats and mpg?

Ok, now that I have u here, I just bought an 06 4runner limited and it has gray interior. I am looking for floor mats. Any recommendations and why would be extremely helpful. Also if you could give me a link or post a pic, that would be great. I searched throught the first 5 pages and couldnt find one on floor mats.

Now to the mpg. My runner has the 4.7 v8. I averaged 25 mpg on the turnpike, thats what the readout said, and from what i have read, its more like 23. Is that correct? Is that decent for the v8 runner? I was traveling 70mph. Thanks in advance for your help!!!

I thought you were going to ask if there was any gas mileage benefit to tossing the floor mats out the window.:biggrin2:

If you got 23 MPG out of the V8 at 70MPH I'd say that's really good.

I got 23 MPG (real) out of the V6 at about 72 - cruise control and mostly flat ground, no real load

That's the best I ever got.

What part of PA? I'm originally from near the Stroudsburg area.

Whatever MPG it states on your computer, just minus 2 & that's pretty much what you should be getting.

Never go w/ what the computer says. Use the old trusty calculator.

I've gotten 22.8 mpg traveling 70mph. (lots of freeway)

My best is 24.8 mpg traveling less than 70mph. (lots of freeway)

And I've only gotten that once when I went to Tahoe.

23-25 mpg?!?

Is your V8 a 4x4? I could see the 6 cyl maybe doing 23mpg, but an 8 cylinder 4x4?

I have an 03 V8 Sport Edition 4x4, and the best I have ever done was 20 mpg on a flat expanse between Columbus and Indianapolis. And I calculate my mileage by hand because that guage never gets it right.

is it just me or do the weathertech mats look like they dont have a lip on the front ones to catch all the mud and water? they look flat so would just flow off the side?

Ok, i have the kind, but what color? I have gray interior w/ black plastic wood grain and gray leather seats.
