Floor Mats/Cargo Liners

Hi Guys,

I'm am currently debating on floor mats and cargo liners for my '03 LTD 4Runner. I've been reading some post here regarding Husky liners and WeatherTEch Liners, but I am still confused as to what I want. I came across these floor mats and cargo liners by Nifty which are the same ones that are sold on Toyota's accessories website. Again, I'm still not sure how they fit or how they are compared to Husky and WeatherTech. What I am looking for are floor mats and cargo liners that have a nice look and feel and at the same time keep my carpet clean. Anway, I just wanted to know what your thoughts are on the Nifty mats below:

I am currently debating between the Catch-All-Premium and the Catch-All Extreme. Has anyone experienced these yet?

Never heard of them before.

Why would they be different for a Limited versus SR5 or Sport models?

I got the Toyota mats for inside, because I don't like Husky mats -- in my F150, they were too slippery for me, and Husky Customer Service acted like I was a problem when I asked about it. For the cargo area, I got WeatherTech (their mats are not custom fit for the cabin, but are for the cargo area).
 
Yeah, I don't know what the difference is either between the SR5 and Limited mats/liners. Can anyone tell if the material is fabric like or is it rubber?
 
I have the Husky liners on my 2003 4Runner Limited, they fit great, protect great and last forever. I had a set on my 1999 4Runner Limited and my carpets looked brand new the day I sold it. The ones I have now are awesome as well. I don't know about anyone else but i've had nothing but a positive experience with both Husky customer service and their products. A good place to buy Husky liners is Premier Motoring. Their prices are good and they got my liners out to me quickly.

Just got the cargo liner catch all cargo logic from the above link.
Fits good. It looks like carpet but made from a plastic so can just hose it off. Sort off like one part of velcro .
The difference between SR5 and limited. It should say double decker cargo or not.
What they did was note the limited comes standard with cargo system but not SR5. Guess they did not know that you can get cargo system on SR5 as a option.
 
I have the Husky liners in the front of my 2003. I also have the Husky rear Cargo mat, which I do not suggest. It has no little bumps on the bottom like my front mats do, and it slips around a lot when loading and unloading.

Which Catch-All did you buy? The Extreme or the Premium? Did you get for corgo or w/o cargo? Does it cover the left/right sides with the hooks? Which part of the velco is it like? The rough side or the plush side? Can you post some pics?

It was a third one called cargo logic not xtreme of permium.
Does not cover hooks so can still use. Sort of like the rough side of velcro but a little plusher. Really looks and feels like carpet but not as plush as factory carpet. Sorry camera is broken for pics. I think it is best of both worlds. Can wash with a hose but looks as good as carpet
 
That site only list a cargo mat for 4-Runner Limited 4dr which has the double cargo shelf. Are you using this cargo liner with the double car up or down? I normally keep my shelf up. Will this sit on top of the shelf or below the shelf?
 
This link shows mat for all 2003 4runners: (when DDCS is in the raised position) The mat fits BELOW the shelf..

Theoretically you can use it when it's in the lowered position too, but it would leave a gap and may not sit flush w/ the entire floor surface. In the raised position, you certainly won't be able to carry any "tall" items...


Alternatively, there's the full mat at http://www.premiermotoring.com that was mentioned earlier,
and I think it's intended for when the DDCS is in the lowered position.

I've been shopping around for mats for a few weeks now trying to decide on which ones to go with. I've decided on the Catch-All-Premiums - I think the Extremes look a little silly. I just checked that 4wheelsupply.com site and they seem to have the lowest price so far. I get most of my stuff from performanceproducts.com, but they were more expensive and the shipping price was insane. :eek:
 
Husky's all the way!

I took out my factory mats the very week I bought my "new to me" 4Runner, sold them on Ebay for about $100, cargo mat too, and bought some black custom fit Husky's, front, back and cargo. No more vacuuming out the rig and getting all those little pieces of grit out of the carpet. I just pick up the Husky, shake it off in the grass, blast it with the hose while I'm washing the rig, set it off to dry and by the time I'm done washing the rig it is dry. Hit em with a little Griot's rubber and vinyl polish and they look brand new. No more vacuuming for me.

I wish I would have done this for my wife's car and saved her carpet from the "sippy cup" monsters!

If you will cut slots in your cargo liner in the appropriate places, it should be marked with a flat spot in the diamond cut design, and pull your tie downs that are OEM through these slots and then fold them down, they will hold your cargo liner in place no problem. I can't honestly tell your whether or not my cargo liner has those little grippies on the bottom of it or not, but after cutting the slots and sitting something heavy on it for a few days so it would flatten out when I first got it, I've had a ton of stuff back there and it has stayed put like a charm.

I would definitely recommend Husky liners. When I first got them I kinda looked at them myself and went, "this is what I paid for, thick, shaped plastic???" But believe me, I no longer have to vacuum my rig at all, they catch all that grit and gravel that gets collected unseen in carpetted mates. Just pull out the Huskies, shake em off, hit em with the hose as I wash the rig and they are dry by the time I'm through, put em back in. You can even use some vinyl/rubber polish on them, I have Griot's and spiff them up every once in a while. Definitely worth the dough!

Just got my mats yesterday. I'm happy with the way they look and they seem durable. They are a shade lighter, but nothing too noticeable. I like the thick rubber backing and the mounts seem like they'll hold nicely. The real test will be how well they hold up through the upcoming New England winter though!
