I know that owning a car isn't an inalienable right given to us by the constitution

Not trying to pick on you but I assume upon second thought you realize that unalienable rights are not rights granted by the Constitution or the government. They are unalienable. That is the whole point.

For example:
they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

These natural rights are not "granted by the state" or the church but are instead unassailable rights given to every human who chooses to embrace or sieze them from their oppressors.

With that said the writers of the Constitution were careful NOT to include the language of unalienable when writing the actual bill of writes amendments to the Constitution. I take this to mean that the right to bear arms is not necessarily unalienable.

- kids don't develop boundaries or learn empathy / single mothers don't do it...spelling future Trouble maker boys

Ritalin is the common name for methylphenidate, classified by the Drug Enforcement Administration as a Schedule II narcotic—the same classification as cocaine, morphine and amphetamines.1 It is abused by teens for its stimulant effects.

THIRD:
Elimination of Male teachers in public schools & vanishing role models...important in young male development.

Conservatives: Well there’s like lots of motor vehicle deaths also what are we going to get rid of cars, lol maga.

Liberals: Funny you bring up motor vehicles, how about varying degrees of licensing for owning various firearms like with motor vehicles and insurance requirements.

Conservatives: uh no, bc maga and like center fires and a random bumper sticker slogan.

If the police or FBI documented this kid he would have been flagged when he tried to purchase a gun. There are loop holes than can be closed, I have no problem with that but how many guns are in this country that have not killed someone. Once again a riot shot gun would have done much worse. So here is what happens, lets say Trump creates some of the toughest laws....States will turn around and take em to court. What about California?? They do whatever they want anyway.

yeah, it was late at night pretty sure an "or" would have made that sentence sail a little further. you right.

while I agree with your sentiment I am not sure of the time line. in theory he could have bought the gun first at 18 and then over the last year, because now he is 19 said all the crazy things. I don't know how this particulars series of events played out. signs were missed that's for sure. the kid needed mental help perhaps up to and including being institutionalized. I still think the problem is the shooter not the weapon.
 
Uber dropped the kid off at the school dressed in black with a rifle case...no red flag there either. Come on...really. No chargers against the driver.

Even talking about the number of men, women and children killed in the name of God is a big no, no. Look that up for yourselves... No ban of religion.

I remember when Obama was out here for a school shooting, I think it was and was freaked out about it.

The constitution describes inalienable rights.

Gun ownership is one of them.

I shouldn't justify owning guns to liberals any more than I have to justify my free speech. It's how this country has been, currently is, and will continue to be.
 
First, if the original purpose of the 2nd was that firepower equal to the potential Tyrant is required to insure Freedom, why would anyone say the police can have full auto guns and the Citizens should be denied even a Semi-Auto? Second, if We already conceded to laws and conditions that limit guns and yet they have not been used by the FBI or other departments through ineptitude and stupidity, WHY would we be asked to replicate and add to those laws and believe for a minute it would solve anything? The Liberals are asking for these very things......to which I say ''Go to Hell''.:hand:

The Texas Tower shooting is an interesting example because we know that the guy had been to the hospital beforehand complaining about his own mental health (specifically how he was having increasingly uncontrollable violent urges). From his Wikipedia page:

I can tell you right now that a brain tumor in the right spot can lead to hostility and paranoia.
