Yes SRO are not solely in place to reduce mass murders, They are there to uphold the law and create an environment conducive to learning. The Bureau of Justice statistics show that there has been a decrease in simple assault and serious violent victimizations since the SRO was incorporated into our schools.

Change is needed but no further regulation or controls will ever 100% stop the problem.........but that doesn’t mean you don’t pursue reasonable measures to make progress toward greatly lessening the problem.

Kind of common sense, no?

Early on Trump really piqued my interest for a while, the last thing we needed in office (2nd to last as it turns out) was the ice queen clinton (still didn't vote for her). But a self funded politician that wasn't beholden to lobbyists and special interests groups! I almost don't care what his politics are thats a dream come true. That quickly died though, as it became obvious he had taken up the mantle of the christian conservatives, the NRA and the energy industry (I work for O/G btw) none of which a few years ago he gave two figs about. Then he gets elected....and he speaks, and he tweets, and he hires people, and he fires people....and you realize we have elected a 4th grade bully who has been held back a few years and may or may not belong in special ed.

As soon as you guys acknowledge all that we will acknowledge his "achievements".

Get used to it, he will be around for another 7 years.

The 10 round magazine limit was tried in the Clinton era. It didn't change a thing. And again the only people that would have only 10 rounds would be the law abiding citizens.

I think their membership numbers change by wide margins frequently, especially when the threats of taking rights away happen. So I am guessing after this tragedy, and the resulting knee jerk reaction calling take away the rights of law abiding citizens, their membership numbers have ballooned big time.
