Flowmaster 40 same as 50?

Hey guys,

Just wondering if any of you would know whether or not the Flowmaster 40 series will put out the same sound as a 50 series???

I liked what Dirtco had described for sound with his 50 series, but was wondering if a 40 series would sound the same??

A 40 series will be louder than a 50 and resonates bad at all speeds..50 series is more of a mellow sound and IIRC dirtco has a delta flow 50 which is even more mellow. I had a 40 on mine and took it off within a few weeks if that's tells you anything

I have a delta 40 on mine, it is pretty loud. as the numbers get lower the sound is louder. like the 10 series is for race cars and is barely street legal if at all.
