Flowmaster 50 series SUV/Truck installed

So I finally got around to welding in my 50 series SUV/Truck muffler and I LOVE it!! It sounds perfect, just how I wanted it to. Little rumble at idle, sounds great throughout the powerband not too loud, not too quiet and no crackling or rasping at all, no droning either at cruise. The muffler itself is not as long as the stocker so I needed to get some excess 2.5" pipe (about 12") to weld it all together. Also of course I ordered the muffler that has a center inlet and offset outlet just like the stock muffler. Just thought I would share my experience with you guys, love the new sound my truck has. Can't tell any performance difference and it is too early to see if there is a MPG difference but I dont really expect those two to change. And to clarify all I did was cut out the old muffler, weld in new one plus some pipe. All the rest of the exhaust is still stock.

I've been wanting to put a flowmaster on my V-6 Runner, I'd really love to hear what it sounds like.

I would also like to know what it sounds like. I drive a 2008 4runner and this seems like the ideal setup but I want to hear it before I buy it. I know it's a ton of work, taking, filming, and uploading videos but maybe someone can post one

I just bought mine and had it installed today at Exhaust Pro. I bought 2.50 Center inset, and 2.50 Offset out, and it sounds amazing. Just as you described. If anyone is curious and wants a deep bold beefy sound but little interior noise- this is it. Perfect muffler and love everything about it!

I am glad you like yours too! I honestly have been meaning to make a clip but havent had time so much stuff going on right now, leaving next friday for about 3 weeks military school. Anywho I am glad you enjoy the sound, I still love mine.
