Flowmaster vs. Magnaflow

I've got a v8 and am looking to get a new muffler. What are everyone's opinions? I'm looking for something moderate, not aggressive.

I always ran flowmaster...but this time the exhaust shop explained to me the benefits of magnaflow. Mainly the fact that the magnaflow mufflers are a straight pipe design without baffles to divert exhaust ... weather that turns into anything meaningful is up to you. :) I also went with magnaflow just for something different and the construction seemed much better than the flownaster. My other plan was borla

I had a muffler shop install a Magnaflow 12256 for $175. Couldn't be happier. It has a deep throaty sound during acceleration and no drone while cruising at freeway speeds. Jump on the skinny pedal and you know its a V8! Not tame and not too aggressive, just right IMO. Should be what you're looking for.

Flowmasters didnt get the nickname "drone masters" for no reason. Normally i choose Borla mufflers on everything I own (mainly the XR1) however i tried Magnaflow this time at a 1/3 the cost and I am pleased.

I have better videos on my YouTube but it is blocked at work. i can post them later if youre interested.

The one I'm using is in my sig. Magnaflow - love it. Just the right small amount of rumble at low speeds to let you know it a v8, but sounds amazing when getting on it or even half throttle. Sounds like performance.
