Fluid Film service in NJ area?

Anyone know where in central NJ I might be able to get my truck's undercarriage Fluid Filmed? I would do this myself but 1) I've heard the FF that a shop puts on is thicker and lasts longer and 2) I really don't feel like it now that it's cold :smow:

What can I expect to pay for something like this?

On a separate note... is FF not recommended if the truck will be off road, due to dirt sticking to the everything? Thanks!

I just bought three spray cans and did my truck before it got cold out. Will probably have to wait to do the runner next year.

I can't say how much it would cost to have someone else do it. It should hold up even if you are off roading.

Tundratalk.net has some great discussions on FF. You will probably have to be a member though to search and fined the posts.

Undercarriage

If you are willing to drive a little out of your way to Brooklyn, i can help, and have a great shop.

Last week (just in time) i just finished mine. Did a complete under carriage anti-rust respray using Rustoleum and then applied FF on top.

Hard to say how much it cost, as i had complete suspension done also...but i would say its about a 3-4hr job (if done properly).

I am a lot more comfortable now that the undercarriage is protected.
