95 4 runner, 3.0 auto 4x4 185000 miles. within the past 2 months i have changed almost all the radiator/coolant hoses. i notice a coolant leak when i am stopped after the drive to/from work (6 miles or so). will be rechecking the hoses this weekend but think it is some new spot.
leak is close to the front of the truck on the driver side. i have changed both hoses to the radiator plus the hose to the oil cooler. i don;t think it is the other oil cooler hose because the leak is too far back.
if it is the radiator, besides a replacement - do i have any options ? never used on of the stop-leak compounds before ... never used a product like SeaFoam before either but i'm a serious believer in that stuff.
i did notice as i replaced the hoses (maintenance piece of mind :wink2
that Toyota glues all the hoses to the fittings or maybe over 15 years they sort of melted on. i did not use any adhesive - just a adjustable clamp that i tightened a lot.
additionally, i leak power steering fluid. obviously this has been occurring a LONG time as the bottom of the truck is coated in gunk. before i can determine where that leak is - i need to clean the gunk off. any suggestions for a safe product for that would be appreciated. i prefer a "spray-on/hose off" item if possible.
thanks for all the assistance.
