Hi I am new here and i would like to ask a question. I have a 2000 4Runner SR-5 4X4 with the non electronic 4x4 system. it has 100K on it when I bought it it has the 3.4 V-6. The dealer I bought it from Put new tires on it Bridgestones 265/70 16's I have put about 6K miles on it and my drivers side front tire is wearing on the inside. (toward the engine,) I had new racing rotors installed just drilled and zink coated with new pads even though the dealer put on new pads. The rotors made one huge difference. My question is, does the wear have to do with possible tire problem? I notice that the truck has a very noticeable viberation at 70MPH it didn't before. It also seems to be in alignment. the passenger side tire looks great. So come-on you mechanic types, can you help a guy out here before I get skinned by my local dealer? Thanks in advance. It sounds like you need an alignment. It doesnt matter if your steering wheel is straight, the camber and caster could be out, toe could possibly be out but maybe not because u said that the the steering wheel is straight.
As far a the vibraition at cruise you should rebalance your tires or you could have a broken belt. You wont know until you starttrying things.

Yeah, get it aligned and then go from there. I just got a front end alignment from Big O after I put my lift on and I think it costed around 40.

Had the T4R alligned and put on new spare. other tire was wearing very uneven and had them ballanced and rotated. I will keep a closer eye on them this time and watch what is going on before I have another 8K on it. I bought it with 100000 on it. I have the bridgestones HK's 265/70 16's on it and am a little leary on the wear of them. The first one was crap. I will be watching these closer. again thanks for helping a new guy. TJ:bouncy:
