The 96 is making a fog horn type sound. It is pretty faint, no where near a real fog horn, but the same sort of tone and length. It is easy to hear once the car is turned off (Not sure if it happens while it is running) and it appears as though it is coming from the top, driver's side of the engine bay. I believe the master cylinder is there (but not positive, I'm a noob).
I can't pinpoint the sound, but give some advice here I could try. I have a mechanic's stethoscope, so I could try that also.
What can I do to figure this out? Is this common? What might be the problem?
