fog lamp wiring question

i installed piaa lights that i intend to use a driving lamps/fog lights. when i installed it i did not want a switch so i tapped the power off one of the fuses for the headlamp.

the issue is that the daytime running lamps make the piaa's run all the time. i tired to wire them up to the tail lights but that makes them flash with the alarm. i am out of ideas how to wire these lights so that they only go on when i turn the headlight switch on.

any suggestions ?

jump a wire from your fuse box below the switch to the post where the purple wire goes on the switch. I just did mine. They will only be able to be switched on when your key is turned.

i am a bit confused mine turn on now when the engine is running what i want to happen is for them only to come on when i turn the headlight switch on

You'll have to run a wire from the headlamp relay to the fog light relay so the fog light relay is energized when the headlamps are on. I'm not sure which posts are the right one. Process of elimination shouldn't be difficult.
my previous post is wiring them independent of anything else having to be on, but won't let them run without the key on.

i dont have a fog light relay. so i still be able to make that jump?

also process of elimination scares me
