fog lght bulb size

Cool. I bought some 35w 4500k HIDs and am now looking for some yellow fogs. Don't think i'm going to do hid for fogs.. What are your opinions on Nokya?

Looks like they have to be spliced in to the stock (Limited) fog light housing? Really surprised to see how it all came apart.

You can't physically fit a HID bulb into the factory fog housing, the bulb is too long.

Neither the Nokya or Hella bulbs are HID.

Yellow Star H3's worked pretty well in my Micro DE's. Picked a set up for my amber Hella 500's too, they also work well. Sikhiluxsurf did a HID retrofit into the fogs with yellow HID's

No splicing for a H3 bulb. That is the stock size bulb and it fits without any modification into a factory fog light. The bulbs you linked to will fit no problem

When I had my 3rd gen I installed the Hella Yellowstars in my Micro DE's. They really helped in dark, foul weather. I've been running Hella Optilux Extreme XY's Nokya Hyper Yellow (both are 2500k) in other vehicles and love those, too.

I know, he stated possibly going with HID's in the fogs as well, just wanted to make sure he didn't blow the money and then find out they don't fit.

I like the PIAA Intense White lights - you can get them in both the H4 for the headlights and the H3 for the fogs. Give off a real white light with no hint of blue. Check around on Amazon and you can usually find a good deal on them.
