Fog light mod on 4th gen??

i have been wanting to do the same thing, but not quite sure how. A friend of mine had helped me do it on my Maxima, but I do not feel comfortable with my knowledge of electrical systems to try it on my own.
From what I remember him doing, he somehow spliced a wire to the parking lights and to the fogs, so that when the parking lights received power, the fogs would then have power, but you still had the capability to turn them off if you wanted. It sounds easy, but when I look in there.........there is no way I am about to start cutting wires....

First remove the plastic housing covering the turn signal and wiper arms.
Cut the green/red stripe wire a few inches from the turn signal stalk connector. Run a wire from the harness side of the green/red stripe wire to one side of a switch. Mount the switch wherever you want. Switched 12 volts (only works when the ignition is on - can't leave your lights on by mistake) is available from the windshield wiper stalk. Run a wire from there to the other side of your switch. Now, when the ignition is on, and you operate the switch, your fog lamps will be on. Simple, eh? :cheers:
