Hi folks,

This last weekend my OEM fog lights suddenly stop working.

I checked the fuse at it´s ok, but I forgot to check the relay.

Has anyone had the same problem before?

It´s a 2008 2WD V6, 22.000 kms.

According to Toyota this is the way to check them and install (hard!)

Looks like youve got all the info you need to figure it out. Simple question but i gotta ask, are the bulbs good?

both at the same time? check the relay, and the wiring. if its a relay, do NOT buy another at the dealership, they cost like 85 bucks, go to autozo e or something, they cost about 10 bucks there. You might want to do this anyways, i really dont know how i would tell if a relay is fualty, unless it had obvious damage. And before you throw in the towel, pull one of the bulbs from your high beams and test it in the fogs.. good luck, I know this would be driving me crazy lol

My switch went bad and I had the EXACT same issue. Replaced the turn signal stalk and no more issues.

You had to replace the complete stalk?? That sounds expensive.

Yes, I have all the info needed, but it´s way beyond what I would. I don´t think I´m handy enough to dismount everything and mount it back again.

From what I can tell, yes, both bulbs are good.

Thanks for the replies!

That´s a fair price.

I don´t know if matters, buy my fog lights are OEM installed aftermarket, so the switch to turn the on it´s not in the stalk, it´s a separate button in the dash.

check your inline fuses, check all your wiring, check the relay, check all connections. if you have a voltage meter see if the lights are receiving power. I have had problems
with aftermarket light wiring as well, I ended up having to order
a new wiring harness cause I couldn't figure out what was wrong to save my life
