fog lights not working on a 3rd gen

so i just got a pair of fogs off these forums, and i go to plug them in, and i get nothing.

im not huge on electrical but here is what i know..

i did add the relay to the fuse box under the hood.

i checked both bulbs to see if they are in good shape, and yes they are fine.

i have a 01 sr5 that came with the wiring under the front bumper, so im making an educated guess and saying that they are wired all the way through to the left side light post like the rest of them.

any ideas

What type of switching device are you using to turn them on/off?

check your powers and grounds.

well i remember that when i was car shopping, that i saw a few that all had the fogs activated with the normal headlights by turning the left hand light post on the steering wheel.

guess i may need to add a switch

I have the oem fog light option on my '03, and there is a ring on the light control stalk that you have to rotate to turn them of/off. If you didn't have the fogs installed from the factory, I wondered if you would have the switch on the stalk anyway or not. If not, then you will need to buy the proper light control stalk, or install an alternate switch of some type.

That was the reason I asked the first question.
